about

Nic's Song was written for and about Nic Pritchard. Nic, who took his life in the summer before his senior year (July 2012) , was a fantastic friend and even better person. Nic had a vibrant personality that touched everyone he came in contact with. His death has not only affected me personally, but has shaken my entire community. This song was written to preserve Nic's memory and end the tradgedy that is teen suicide. Any donations offered through this download will go to Sources of Strength, an organization that fights against suicide in schools. While donations are greatly appriated, you can download Nic's Song for free. It has been my honor to write and record such a special song for such an amazing friend.

lyrics

Wake me from this dream that can't be real.
Hold me. I'd cry but I'm too numb to feel.
Come back, Come back.
I promise it'll all be ok.
We'll run away.
I promise you that you'll heal.

(Chorus)
'Cause there's no place I'd rather be,
than have you here beside of me.
Hand me your burdens. Just let me ease your load.
And there's nothing I'd rather do.
I'm strong enough, I'll carry you.
There's no need for sorries. I just need you back at home.
'Cause you're the best guy I know

Make me, make me smile like you did.
Shaking with laughter just like we were kids.
Oh tell me, tell me. You're not too far from here.
Oh tell me, tell me.You're happy and free from fear.

(Repeat Chorus)

(Bridge)
Don't run too far.
Don't run too fast.
We're trying to keep up with you.
Please don't become part of my past.
I want you in my future too.

(Repeat Chorus)
